About Sarah
"I'm Sarah and I own Total Dog. Having seen a gap in the market I wanted to create a unique experience for dog owners by offering a multi-service establishment here in Worksop. I have over 15 years experience working with a wide range of animals especially dogs, small animal and horses. My forte, though, has been within the animal welfare sector working within rescue centres. Borneholm Dog Rescue & Rehabilitation kick started my career pathway to working with dogs full time and eventually I moved up the career ladder with larger charities such as RAIN Rescue, Thornberry Animal Sanctuary & The RSPCA Doncaster & Rotherham District. I have always practiced positive reinforcement training techniques and have worked with a multiple range of trainers throughout my career. I am Qualified in Animal Management Level 3 and hold my Pet First Aid & CPR certificate. I am also undertaking a BSc (Hons) Psychology degree. I am passionate about holistic therapies and have achieved my Reiki 1 and plan to obtain my Reiki Practitioner status through UK Reiki Federation in 2026. I am qualified in Crystal Healing for Dogs too. I am passionate about customer service and aspire to train and employ outstanding individuals who have the same passion & drive for dogs and their welfare as I do".
